I enjoyed your Retreat with Maitreya & his family very much, especially the outdoor circle at the gazebo Saturday afternoon ~ actually a profound experience for me. The energy was palpably strong & clear. The teachings you & Maitreya gave, the words you both spoke, captured us & we were truly one in those moments. I can still hear Maitreya encouraging us to be with the trees, still feel the spiritual rhythm of the beautiful Hawaiian dance that you led.

That experience kept bringing to my mind my favorite passage from 365 Tao, a Taoist book of daily contemplations, similar to The Sufi Book of Life.  "Absorption" is intended for March 13 - I read this passage every morning. We joined at the gazebo March 11.  "Absorption" holds the same message you & Maitreya brought to us that day. Being a newcomer to Sufi philosophy, I am struck by how elegantly Sufi & Taoist paths intertwine, so in tune with the cycles of Nature.
